Bunions are deformities of the foot where the big toe is moved spontaneously above or beneath the second toe. It is often billateral. This deformity occurs due to 5 musculoskeletal disorders of the foot. The only successful way of treatment is surgical correction. Attempts by various correction splint still remain without any results. Figure 1 shows the appearance of the foot prior to surgery and on Figure 2 after surgical correction. If the deformity is bilateral, then the surgery is performed simultaneously left and right. After surgery, the patient can immediately walk with crutches or at home even without crutches leaning on the outside part of the foot, until everything is healed for 5-6 weeks.
